Anastasios Tafakis

Anastasios Tafakis (‘Tassos’) is a Swiss, German and Greek national. Since August 2026, he has been working as a fund manager at MRB Fund Partners AG, where his responsibilities include overseeing the integration of portfolio management systems, coordinating trade compliance audits and managing the Global Ownership AMC. Prior to this, he worked at 2Xideas AG from 2019 to 2026, serving as Head of Trading from 2022 and as a Partner from 2024. There, he was responsible for trade execution across various fund structures, conducted equity research and was a member of the Investment Decision Committee. From 2014 to 2019, he was a portfolio manager at Wille Finance AG, where he was responsible for a long/short equity strategy and a cross-asset portfolio. Previous roles include positions at HNW Family Office AG, Valartis Bank AG and Merrill Lynch International.

He has been a CFA® Charterholder since 2014 and holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Bath, as well as a BA (Hons) in Business Economics & Finance from London Metropolitan University.
