Mohamed Hawary

Graduating from The American University in Cairo with a BA in Business Administration (1994), Mohamed, served one year in the 60-year-old family steel business, before proceeding to launch his first business which he led to become the number one supplier of steel for multinational firms operating in Egypt. Selling his business six years later, Mohamed launched a family investment office. Gaining strong traction and attracting outside clients, he then transformed it into Andalucia Financial, a boutique consultancy and investment management firm that served local and international clients for over 12 years. In 2015 he moved to fund manager GroFin to manage and grow their business in the MENA region. In 2018, he launched a BVI Hedge Fund focusing on MENA investments. He writes regularly on world economic affairs in several MENA publications. At MRB, Mohamed is responsible for the fund management of the LEO OBELISK Fund.
