Edgar is a financial innovator with 30 years of global experience in systematic and discretionary investing, technology, and leadership. Edgar develops advanced systematic investment strategies.

He was a partner and CIO Systematic at alternative giant PAG, Chief Quantitative Strategist at Pictet Group, and partnered with global prop trader AlphaGrep. Edgar has built global investing and technology businesses, raised assets of up to $8 billion, and led teams of 30 professionals, primarily PhDs specializing in AI and hard science applications.

Edgar’s expertise spans both multi-strategy approaches and asset allocation, systematic macro and trend-following, relative value and arbitrage, volatility, long/short equity and market-neutral strategies across global markets, including mainland China.
