Matthias Schaad Mettler joins the MRB team
The MRB team warmly welcomes Matthias Schaad Mettler. Matthias was approved by FINMA as an additional member of MRB's Executive Board and will be responsible for MRB's newly internalised Governance, Risk & Compliance division from 1 January 2026. Matthias is a proven expert in his field and was previously a partner at SwissComply AG in Zurich, among other positions.

MRB plans to register as an Exempt Reporting Advisor (ERA) with the SEC (USA)
Based on the FINMA approval of a correspondingly expanded organisational regulation, MRB will register with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) as an Exempt Reporting Advisor (ERA) with the support of outsourcing specialist IQ EQ Fund Services LLC (New York). The registration, which is expected to be completed by March 2026, will enable MRB to use its existing licence to also manage ‘private funds’ as an investment manager that are open to ‘qualified US investors’.
